We received out wedding film today. We can honestly say, we are blown away. After a fabulous bottle of bubbly and a two hour sit down to reminisce our wedding day , you delivered and more. There was not dry eye in the house. Between tears and laughter we regaled our day through your eye and to be wholly honest an eye from a spectator, someone that did not know us as the people we are. However, You captured moments and memories that will last a life time for us.
Every person in life has a Job, a way to “make money” but you my friend make a difference! And forever, we will be grateful.

We hired Lukas as our videographer without even meeting him! I had a look at his work online and really liked his range, he could provide almost any style for any kind of bride! When I emailed him he was so accommodating and kind that I knew he was going to help to make our wedding the relaxed, special day we wanted it to be. A few weeks before our wedding we went to Dublin to meet with Lukas and were just blown away by the quality of the videos he was currently working on. He was also exactly as kind, sweet and funny as he had seemed over email and text and we were both delighted with our choice. In hindsight I’m really glad we had a wedding video as we’ve since had some deaths in the family, closest of all my grandfather. Seeing him enjoy a glass of champers and laugh on the video is so special to me and I really cherish the wonderful work Lukas did.

Just want to send quick mail to say THANKYOU sooooo much for my wedding day… you were brilliant – i cant wait to see how the video looks… we are just back from honey moon so can you tell me what you need from me … oh and there is one or two things i would like left out of the finished video – one being Kevins brothers impromptu speech (he was not supposed to get the mike and what he said was not appropriate) also he i beleive he may have taken over when you were getting comments from some guests so just edit out whatever crap he was saying as I have been told he was carrying on ridiculous – apologies we only found out after wards… anyway having mnet myself, kevin and the kids you know what kind of finished video we would like

What we were most worried about is that it would be slightly cringy watching ourselves prance about the screen but amazingly you were able to take out that embarrassment factor and make it look and feel so natural, fun and carefree. Just back from our honeymoon! Thank you so much for your fantastic work on the day…..you just seemed to be in the background all the time and we only noticed you from time to time! I only found out from the girls the following day that you had a camera set up in the sunroom while we were getting our hair and make-up done…..nice one!

During the early part of our planning we contacted a number of Videographers and as they were quoting the same if not more than our Photographer fee, our budget was running low after my Stephanie Allin Gracie purchase so we decided to park the idea for awhile.
As the months went on and from talking to previous Brides some of them shared with me their regrets and the most popular one was not booking a Videographer to capture their Wedding Day.
I started my research again when I happened to stumble across Diga.ie. If we did want a Videographer, we wanted a cinematic style to it, not your average wedding film.
It was only about 8 weeks before the wedding when Brian & I went to meet Lukas from Diga. We instantly liked him and after a brief chat about what we wanted and a look through some more of Lukas and Diga’s previous work we paid our deposit on the spot. We knew that Lukas would be good fun to have around on our day too, and I think that’s really important.
The week leading up to the wedding I was of course touching base with all suppliers but Lukas was the only one who contacted me first! He was so organised, sent me google maps links to my parents house & reception venue to confirm he had the right places. He was just great.
The morning of the wedding, Lukas arrived right on time & instantly blended in with all the madness that was going on. As I was doing all my little jobs Lukas would come with me!
And the end result – WOW WEE!
Last weekend we received our wedding video, personalised with some stills from this work & our favourite shot – it couldn’t be more perfect.
Brian and I (and of course Muffin too) curled up on the couch and thoroughly enjoyed Lukas’s vision of capturing every single memory of our day. I know I’m totally biased but it’s the best wedding I’ve ever seen.
Lukas flicked from cinematic, to vintage style to black & white but yet it all just flows together seamlessly.

We cannot thank Lukas enough for our beautiful wedding videos! Lukas is a true master of his craft. So good, that our videos made me think I had forgotten that he had an assistant with him (he didn’t!). Lukas worked quietly and calmly in the background all day and still caught so many details. I love that our videos have a good balance not only of us but also of our guests and shots of how happy everyone was all day. It was so special to see that our guests were having fun when they didn’t know they were being filmed. The extra effects (time lapse, sepia, slow motion) really made the videos extra special and cinematic. I remember saying goodbye as Lukas was leaving and he was sweating bullets after filming on the dance floor. Lukas, thank you for working so hard to capture these amazing memories!
We had Lukas capture our wedding day and we can simply say it was possibly one of the best decisions we made around our wedding. He is such a relaxed down to earth guy who seriously talented. The finished product was absolutely amazing and it is something we will have to cherish for ever more !

Lukas did our wedding video and we couldn’t recommend him enough. He fitted in so well in the morning and throughout the day and was so relaxed to be around. We didn’t even know Lukas was there for most of the day and he was great fun with things he wanted to shoot. we cannot recommend DIGA video enough. The video is AMAZING. We first were unsure about getting a videographer in, but with some of our grandparents being unable to travel over from Belgium and the UK we decided to go for it. Best decision ever. Lukas is such a lovely guy to work with and the results have blown us away. We can’t wait to show our grandparents.
